Choosing the shipping method

The vehicle shipping is usually done in two ways;

  • Enclosed method.
  • Open method.
In the open method, which is the typical process, the truck trailer will have the ability to transport up to 12 vehicles at a given time but the car would be exposed to the damages during the trial in roads and bad climatic conditions.

On the other hand, in the enclosed trailer the car would be carried safe and protected in an enclosed carrier with a maximum of only 3 vehicles per transport. Here the cost would be much higher than the typical open method. If you opt for the cheapest transport, the open transport would be the better choice. Then again if more care should be given to the vehicle, closed transport is better as it is not prone to climatic conditions and road hazards.
